We’re excited to introduce the latest addition to our team, Jackie Campbell, Corporate Travel Meetings & Events Sales Manager. With a wealth of experience, Jackie brings a fresh perspective and valuable skills to our Meetings and Events team. Q: What are you looking forward to the most in this role?

A:  I am so delighted to be working for an organization that values new ideas and insights as well as creative approaches to existing processes.  I feel like there is tremendous potential to develop and evolve and remain with this team for many years thanks to the support from leadership to explore opportunities for engagement and education within the industry. 

 

Q: What do you like about working for AAA Corporate Travel so far?

A:  I have enjoyed so many aspects of the job in my first month including working for a leader “that gets it”. Kim Sherlock, Director of Corporate Travel Sales, is a straight shooter with a plethora of knowledge and wisdom to share. I am humbled to be part of a team of trusted professionals that have similar goals….make it happen and exceed expectations!

 

Q: What has been the toughest challenge you’ve had to overcome at work (whether at AAA or a previous role)?

A:  In my last couple of positions, I was in a role that was unique to the organization or team.  I was a bit of a “solo act” which can be isolating and difficult when you are in an industry that expects perfection with each new event or meeting.  I am thrilled to be part of an amazing and dynamic team!

 

Q: In terms of successes, which accomplishments are you most proud of?

A:  We recently relocated to Cincinnati from San Diego and I am proud that we, as a family, have approached the changes with grace and excitement for the future!  New home, new jobs, new schools, new adventures!

 

Q: Do you have a personal motto or favorite quote that you try to live by?

A: Everything happens for a reason.  When I think about the things that happen in my life (bad or good), the motto helps me find the positive in the negative, find lessons to be learned, opportunities for exploration, and excitement for what’s ahead.

 

Q: What’s one thing on your bucket list that you’re willing to share with us?

A: I am getting married to my partner of 8 years in May 2025.  I have always wanted to visit Hawaii so I am hoping for a late honeymoon/birthday gift, so we take a luxurious Hawaiian vacation!
